Pre-Production: The Finished Product!
After all documents were completed, we put them all into InDesign and created a book. Nisserin was in charge of creating the design and layout of the book and made sure to keep to the Young & Famous branding throughout.
Myself and Becca were in charge of editing the book's content to ensure that everything was as it should be and the content of the work was up to the standard needed to help the readers understand as much about our idea and how we will work to make the show happen as possible. All three of us proof read the book before sending it to the printers on the 21st November, however as this was a quick turn a round to what we were expecting we didn't have time to get a fresh pair of eyes to read it before we had to send it. After sending it for printing and showing other people such as family and friends, they noticed a few minor spelling mistakes within a few documents that we hadn't noticed when reading through ourselves. However saying this I have found an article from the BBC that gives reasons as to why typos and spelling mistakes don't really matter! Here is the link below!

Although this article says how spelling mistakes aren't the be all and end all, I am still disappointed that we missed them before sending the book for printing. However I am proud of the work we have produced as a team and do not think that the spelling mistakes (minor as they are) take anything away from the concept of Young & Famous and exactly how we are going to conduct the shoot and edit of this show. All three of us are extremely pleased with the end result and know that we have put our absolute best into every aspect of the Pre-Production Book to make it as professional and interesting as we can.
We chose to go with Colour Digital Print Services to print our book and they are based in Devon. They worked well with us to make sure our book was printed and delivered to us in time, liaising with us to help make the book better in terms of layout for the beginning pages and even sent us more copies than what we paid for! As Producer I was in charge of liaising with the printing company and this was all done through our production company email, helping us to look more professional to the company.

Overall we are really pleased with how the book has turned out and we have impressed ourselves with how much we have managed to complete within the deadline. We feel fully prepared to film Young & Famous in February and believe that we will do a good job due to our planning and love for the project.
