There are many things on this list that I already have the confidence to undertake however there are a few that I am unsure of. As the Producer it is my job to work out how to become knowledgeable in the areas that I am not confident of and put them into practice for the remainder of the year. Below is what I am not confident on and how I will achieve this:
- I am unsure of how to secure finance and understand how budgeting can be used effectively as there is no room for mistakes when it comes to dealing with money. To tackle this problem I will research into financing and also ask Production Managers the best way to budget and stick to it.
- I will email a Producer that I met on my placement with TwentyTwenty and get her advice on how to motivate others as well as myself so that I can draw on her experiences and make sure that I do the best job I can for my production team.
- I will also research into the Laws and Regulations of the health and safety act to ensure that the production remains within the legal boundaries and we are covered in everyday possible if there was to be an accident.
