Fiction Adaptation: Letter for PQA

I have constructed a letter to send out to the group of students and their parents from PQA that I will be using in my film. The reason I have done this is because when working with children it is important to make sure that all points have been covered so that the students know what they are doing and what is required of them as well as the parents knowing what their child will be up to.

Fiction Adaptation: "Being British" by Deanna Rodger

I have chosen to adapt the poem " Being British " by Deanna Rodger.  From my understanding of the poem, it is about the challenges she has faced regarding interracial stereotyping and the struggle to be accepted as a British Citizen of natural birth.  Deanna is a spoken word poet and an international performer. Tutorial Feedback with Helen

This is the feedback I have received from Helen regarding my progress and my progress as a team member throughout there unit so far. Some things mentioned that I need to improve on is making the script more chatty rather than formal and informational. It is a bit too 'newsy' at the moment and therefore needs to become more inviting and engaging. We need to assume that the audience knows absolutely nothing about what we are talking about and in order to do this we need to forget all the knowledge we already have and start from the very simple things like setting up who the interviewee is and what they do. It's important that we do this because otherwise the audience gets confused and no one knows who this person is. It's important that we let the information breathe.
