Digital News - Tesco Transcript

After the shoot from Tesco, I have written and edited a transcript. I noticed when editing it that a lot of their answers weren't necessarily relevant to our story. So I have edited out what wasn't relevant and made the answers flow in a way that will help our story to move along and keep on task. In total, we filmed them for over 10 minutes so now that I have take out the "waffle" the interview should last about 2-3 minutes. This will be ideal as it will help us to move the story along to the next package.

One more thing that I noticed was how the interviewees didn't answer the questions in full sentences addressing the question I had asked. However this is not too much of an issue as I have managed to move the answers around to help them make sense as a package on their own without needing to have the questions heard in the film.

On our next shoot, it will be a top priority to ask them to answer the questions in full sentences so that the transcripts flow better.
