I really enjoyed this short film because I thought it was a very clever character study of the protagonist Elroy. The film is about two strangers meeting. The male reminded me a lot of my protagonist Rylee when watching because at first he was reluctant to talk to Clara, the female character, but by the end she helped him to make a change in his life using his Mother's post it notes as motivation. 

This film has helped me to understand how to highlight a change in a character whilst showing the journey for that change. My film is quite similar to this in theme as they are both character studies. I feel that my film is maybe a little too subtle in showcasing this after watching Evans' film. I will use this as a learning curve for my next project when writing my script and filming it also. This is because Evans's film I felt clearly laid out the characters motives and the change was very visible making this film successful. My film however, I feel that the character's change isn't necessarily as clear as it could be so I will take Evans's film into consideration when re-writing my script.

Fiction Adaptation: "Being British" by Deanna Rodger

I have chosen to adapt the poem " Being British " by Deanna Rodger.  From my understanding of the poem, it is about the challenges she has faced regarding interracial stereotyping and the struggle to be accepted as a British Citizen of natural birth.  Deanna is a spoken word poet and an international performer. Production: Producer's Role During Post-Production Research

As I am the Producer for Young & Famous and I am not editing the project, I understand that the Producer takes a step back from the post-production phase.  I have researched into what the Producer's role is throughout this stage as I was unsure if what I was doing was enough.  According to the Creative Skill set; a Producer's role throughout Post - Production is to keep in regular contact with the Director and editor, but to let them harness the footage and create the film.  As the Producer, this is their time to deal with all the finances of the film such as paying actors, marketing and liaising with the distribution companies to sell or exhibit the film and confirming edit or sound changes.  As we are not going to be distributing Young & Famous to big companies to sell, I focused on paying all of the actors their expenses and regularly coming into the edit suit for review meetings with Simon and Andrea.  I...
