Ideas For Trailers - Jimmy's War

I have been struggling to find a care home that is willing to allow me to film in their residential area which means I have had to come up with some alternative ideas. After hearing that we don't necessarily have to create a trailer using key shots from our scripts, but can use the script as the guidelines to SELL the story I have come up with a few more trailer ideas:

Idea Number 1:

Rylee is an adult now and is telling his son about Jimmy. He takes him around to the care home's front door abut can't bring himself to go inside. We see the picture and cards that Jimmy used to have sitting on his coffee table at Rylee's house on the mantle piece. So in a nutshell... Rylee tells the story without actually being the 15 year old boy he was when the script is set.

Idea Number 2:

Jimmy's War gets published and he is having an interview with a reporter about the context of the book.

Idea Number 3:

Rylee is a Primary School history teacher teaching about WW1 and one student asks whether he knew any of the soldiers. The others laugh at the question but Rylee begins to tell them about Jimmy. He shows them the photograph and the cards which he keeps in the classroom on the teacher's desk.

Idea Number 4:

Find another way of taking key shots from the script to make it more of a movie trailer.

I am going to try to pursue idea number 3 as I think it has the most potential to actually be able to film it. I am going to ask Tunstall School Primary School to see how they would feel about me coming in with an actor to film the trailer. I would really prefer to do idea number 4 but I will keep number 3 as a backup option if the original plan fails to work out.
